Once again last year was a record year for growth for the company with the culmination being a new office in the Fraser Valley to better serve our client’s increasing workloads. Fortunately we have been able to bring in experienced or well qualified personnel this year to bolster the number of experienced staff we already had in the company to service those needs. We fully expect this new satellite office together with our other offices in Victoria, Nanaimo and Prince George to lead the way with growth projections for the company next year.

With a buoyant economy it is honestly difficult to see things slowing down in the near future and certainly in the environmental industry where so much of what is done is being driven by regulatory requirements.

We have great expectations for 2008. WorkSafe BC regulations relating to hazardous materials are in flux as is the current BC Ministry of Environment legislation. Irrespective of the economic drivers fair pricing and good quality service will always be at the core of all of the things we do which has led to a loyal and appreciative client base built up over the past 17 years.

Continuing in that vein will undoubtedly allow Pacific Environmental to build on the success we have achieved in the British Columbia marketplace since our inception in 1990. It is very important to me personally that all new staff in the company understand the basic tenant of how Pacific Environmental sets out to do business. Namely it is our clients that matter and with demonstrated service we will always strive to make sure that those client needs are met.

When I started the company back in1990 my father gave me some sage advice which I have made sure is passed along to all of our staff. He said “If you do a great job for someone they might tell one or two people, but if you do a lousy job for someone they will tell everybody”. To make sure that we meet these high expectations we continually strive to ensure that we have well qualified staff with experience to offer the best possible advice to our clients.
